Mad Men, Buzzfed.

The admittedly hilarious listicle-form "journalism"of Buzzfeed has found the endless memes, gifs, and mindblowingness of Mad Men. Of course, it has to be Buzzfeed-ified, a.k.a the article titled, "10 Crazy Things You Didn't Know About the Hair on Mad Men." Now I'm going to swallow my pride and let you know that there is actually one interesting fact in there about the cast members taking turns trying on Ida Blankenship's wig, even after her death. As a character, of course. Even more awesome and buzz-worthy is the list called, "25 Things You Didn't Know About Mad Men That Will Blow Your Mind." I didn't know 15 of them, not sure if that's impressive or not. Probably not.

Here are the most mindblowing, in my mind:

1. 7 out of the 9 writers on the show are women. Um, does this change everything or does this change everything? I'm thinking that now I have to rewatch all six seasons and reanalyze it all! Okay, kidding.
2. The actress who played Mrs. Blankenship also played the Karate Kid's mom. Image above, 'nuf said.
3. The show paid $250K to use The Beatles iconic song “Tomorrow Never Knows” in an episode. Weiner really wanted that one bad.
4. Much of season 3 revolves around a commercial parody of “Bye Bye Birdie” – the nickname Don has for Betty. By the end of the season, they divorced. WOW. Mind=blown.
5. Christina Hendricks originally auditioned for the role of Midge. Sorry, Joan cannot be a hippie.
